where did all these rows suddenly come from

@saumil on the queue algo - I’d hope it focuses on recent behavior! I’ll admit I used to transfer tix if my friend(s) were running late or if plans changed so I’d resell - I stopped doing so when I discovered that’s why my queue numbers have been so high the past 10 presales.

@ScottFriedman3 This really should be driven by clear upstream guidance on what the exact options are and pros/cons from the ticket service (Ticketmaster). It clearly isn’t, that’s why so many presales are this chaotic and thrashy.

We can’t have Jay-Z messing around with turning on and turning off transfers. This also breaks the law in State of New York.

Would love to see initiatives prioritized on better fan targeting via data (spotify / apple music listening history, official artist website purchase history) for exclusive presales, or favored in the queue algorithm at least.

The @Ticketmaster queue system is wrecked and to me this is the biggest issue @LiveNation needs to fix. The @kanyewest shows were a perfect example this week that queue numbers don’t reflect actual demand. Over a million in the queue and still thousands of tickets remain unsold after the added show. If the million was a real number, both shows sellout instantly. Bots are coming at @Ticketmaster from countries throughout the globe. It is high time the @FTC actually prosecute bad actors instead of just talking tough. Ticketmaster along with every secondary exchanges are well aware of how bot users operate and know who many of them are. The @NATB_org who continually says they are anti-bot has many members that use these on a daily basis. We are way past the time of anonymity and protecting bad guys. @CTFairness also endorses NATB BTW…
