@hell_line0 Alpine divorce is common? I’d never heard of it before, and quite frankly I never want to hear of it again. A person who have to be out of their minds to even consider doing this to someone.

Just saw a Tiktok of a girl whose boyfriend abandoned her during a hike in the woods. The comments were all about how this is a thing multiple men do. It's so common it's called Alpine Divorce and there are support groups for it....All I can say is wtf is wrong with men??? Why would you ever consider abandoning someone that way? I'm mortified.

They were leaving it up to military members to make that determination. That leads to anarchy of different people have their own opinions on what is legal.

A person’s name can still be dragged through the mud and their reputation can still be damaged even without proven guilt.
