If you've wondered what impact the anaesthetist has on outcomes, it's little, hopefully because in the UK standards are near-universally high. @RoyalPapworth did a study a few years ago that estimated that the individual anaesthetist attributed 0.25% to risk adjusted mortality

A cardiac arrest happens when someone’s heart suddenly stops beating, and their breathing is abnormal or has stopped. You need to act fast so the person can have their best chance of survival, without quick action, the person will die.
