@esarty @andjustliketwat It’s demoralising. I’m surrounded by people I’ve known all my life whose politics I abhor. They aren’t exactly friends.
Most of them have never interacted with an immigrant in their lives yet blame them for everything. That’s why I don’t go to the pub anymore.

@Footinit @andjustliketwat I’ve so many childhood friends who never ventured further than the local boozer (other than Benidorm) who’ve spent all day reposting reform lies on FB.
So glad I found new people based on more than living on the same/next street.

@andjustliketwat I’d like to think the people I choose as friends wouldn’t vote Reform. I married someone who now votes Reform so I’m clearly a terrible judge of character.
