@abileon @jessyMeow @HatchEscapes @13thGateEscape Encrypted Escape Room in PA (encryptedwr.com) does something like that and we love it - they can do 2-player private bookings on Tuesday-Thursdays. Wish more 4-person-minimum rooms allowed this sort of arrangement on off-peak days.

This 1000x. Our favorite sets usually execute this very well (Lab Rat at @HatchEscapes and Cutthroat Cavern @13thGateEscape are just 2 examples).

@jessyMeow @abileon @HatchEscapes @13thGateEscape @jessyMeow Yeah, we understand the challenge too - it’s almost always just my wife and I and we strongly prefer playing as just a couple, so planning for minimum-4-player games in a remote location required a lot of hoops for us too. Cutthroat Cavern was worth it for us though.

once i asked an escape room owner whether they got annoyed when other escape rooms opened in their area and competed for their business and they said "nah - if someone makes a good escape room, then the people who play it are gonna want to play more" i think about that a lot
