This adaption of the Swiss cheese theory feels very real in healthcare today. #Anaesthesia2023 Staff shortages and difficult working conditions make the holes in the cheese much bigger.

Hi @BootsUK are you ok? It’s just you’re selling a can of deodorant for £6 and I can’t quite believe it.

A Chancellor who cared about the NHS would so obviously fix this insanity in their forthcoming budget, @Jeremy_Hunt 🤷‍♀️

Lots of talk about how the #NHS should be re-organised. Nothing about how that will impact the wellbeing of the workforce. The NHS is the people who deliver the care & after Covid they’re in pretty poor shape. If you don’t recover them you’ll never be able to recover the service.

If you think every single MP should be pushing the government into action to save lives in the NHS, RT this please. I will follow back everyone who RTs this. Time for us to get connected 💙

I'm so concerned about the #NHSCrisis that I wrote to my MP Philip Davies asking him to urge the government to act, particularly on social care. I thought the voters of #Bingley #Saltaire & #Shipley would like to read his response and I do hope they remember it at the next GE.

@morefluids I worked somewhere that did once. You had to stay in recovery until the patient was extubated & you could extubate in theatres if you wanted to… On the whole, apart from seeming v strange it worked well. The recovery nurses extubated beautifully, safely and patiently.

Hello does anyone know of any good resources for doctors who are returning to clinical practice after some time away? Either for parental, health, or OOP reasons? Courses, programmes, or any other existing resources would be great. Thanks!
