Yes, I attended the @NigeriaNDCHQ primaries in Nsit Ibom LGA. I also used that time to strengthen more grassroots engagement with a cross section of persons who came around to hear my take. As a party, we must be careful so as not to allow a Tinubu-centric person or mole to hold party ticket at any level And Party leader/Stakeholders need to prioritise zoning into several Senatorial and Federal Constituency because as it is done in the National, a proper zoing will give us an added and needed advantage in the General Elections. C/c - @iamHSDickson , @YunusaTanko Samuel Enobong Duff Convener, Forum of LGA Obidient Movement Co-ordinators/Deputy and Secretaries, Akwa Ibom State

As @NigeriaNDCHQ primaries is set up for tomorrow, Obidient Movement Stakeholders in Etinan Federal Constituency have done justice to the several aspirants and have come to state that 1.Hon. Ndifreke Udosen is fit and capable to represent Etinan/NsitUbium/NsitIbom Federal Constituency and by zoning principle, he is concensus candidate from Nsit Ibom. He is ready for the job. 2.That it is Comrade Nsisong C.J, Esq turn to represent Nsit Ibom State Constituency. He is from Asang Court Area and it is Asang's turn to complete the eight year rotation. 3.That H.E Mr Peter Obi have paid his dues and is the only capable option to save Nigerians from massive suffering and lack of growth in all sectors of the Economy. E-signed Samuel Enobong, MNSE Aspirant, House of Representative. Etinan/NsitUbium/NsitIbom Federal Constituency #NDC #Politics #AkwaIbom

OPEN LETTER TO @NigeriaNDCHQ DONT ANNOUNCE WHAT YOU ARE NOT IMPLEMENTING. I write to observe and speak against the lack of implementation of the 50% cut-off for youth aiming to run for Elective offices. While the Not-too-young to run bill reduces the age barrier for persons aiming to run for office, our party @NigeriaNDCHQ announced the 50% cut-off for form prices and are yet to implement it across the Federal and State Screening committee. This is not a good omen for a party whose major supporters are persons of age grade 25-35. I hereby call on our National Leaders @iamHSDickson and the incoming President @PeterObi to look into this on or before Sunday, 24th May, 2026 which is the deadline for close of sales of Expression of Interest/Nomination forms. This will reduce the barrier of Entry and especially assist me and others youth to get their Expression of Interest form for 1million instead of 2million for HOR and 500k instead of 1M for House of Assembly. Yours Sincerely, Samuel Enobong Duff Hopeful, Etinan/NsitUbium/NsitIbom Federal Constituency, NDC. I write from Uyo @PeterObi @KwankwasoRM #NDCScreening2026 #NDC #ndcconvention

Members attended this meeting only by invitation as Obidient Movement Co-ordinators from Etinan, Nsit Ibom and Nsit Ubium amongst others were in attendance. In my opening remarks, I hinted that the fusion of Mr. Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso @KwankwasoRM goes to show tne unity

Today, I attended virtually the Aspirants Summit of the National Obidient Movement. It was a very well engaging event as all speakers spoke in-line with the current realities, challenges facing the @NigeriaNDCHQ ahead of the Primaries and hold to resolve them As an aspirant for the position of House of Representative to represent Etinan/NsitIbom/NsitUbium Federal Constituency, I find some of the lectures quite interesting. Dr. Amadi spoke about the Unity in diversity tha t will naturally resonate when the two naturally loved Leaders from the North and South fuse into a Vice Presidential and Presidential ticket. @AishaYesufu also spoke about loyalty in politics while she didnt forget to mention the 3C's of Leadership: Character, Compentence and Capacity. The summit addressed the fact that @NigeriaNDCHQ is well positioned as the party for the possible Nigeria but one thing remains, Leaders should be able to do the work and build from grassroots. @PeterObi should make sure that structure in the party(People running for offices) have the Obidient Movement DNA in them. Dear @YunusaTanko , the summit is good but let the Principal know that Obidient Movement Nationwide is also waiting to see how Leaders who have held structured back post 2023 elections will be sponsored to run for offices at Federal and State. If that is not done, then we run at risk of our votes not being protected enough. Politics is very Local. Meanwhile, my declaration meeting/Inauguration of Obi/Duff 2027 campaign council holds tomorrow. Date: 17th May, 2026 Time: 3:30pm Location: Primary school, IkotObio asnagha/Afaha abia, Nsit Ibom

NNYIN IDA YÈ PETER OBI. The Yak-Enobong-Abre Campaign Organization proudly moves with our Principal, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi @PeterObi and Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, FNSE @KwankwasoRM into the Nigeria Democratic Congress @NigeriaNDCHQ following a call to engage, participate and occupy political offices for the pursuit of a better Nigeria. When our Principal visited Akwa Ibom State on the 14th of February, 2026. He charged every "Obidient" and Nigerian to engage, participate and occupy political offices through the platform available for the  movement. Our commitment have never been about party labels but about the idea of good Governance, Accountability, Competence and National Transformation of Mr. Peter Obi. The YAK-ENOBONG-ABRE CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION therefore declares its full readiness to continue its journey under the banner of the NDC with renewed strength and vision. In-line with this vision, I hereby express my strong intention to contest for a position in the House of Representative to represent Etinan/NsitUbium/NsitIbom Federal Constituency. Futhermore, as the Principle of rotation and fairness have been acknowledged and respected by the Leadership of the party at the National Level. It is only just and equitable that the same understanding be extended to the Federal House of Representative seat as it is the turn for Nsit Ibom to produce the next representative for Etinan/NsitIbom/NsitUbium Federal Constituency. Samuel Enobong, MNSE Aspirant, House of Representative, Etinan/NsitUbium/NsitIbom Federal Constituency, Nigeria Democratic Congress (Signed) C/c: @Linus_Macauley @Vectrolink @EstherUmoh10 @ElijahNoah8 @ObidientAkwaHub @OK2027movement @sppgpln @TheSPPG

Resignation from the @ADCNig After careful consideration, I hereby resign from the African Democratic Congress. This decision stems from the ongoing court crises within the party created by elements loyal to Pres. @officialABAT .I still beleive that a New Nigeria is Possible

@afamosigwe @MohdHAbdullahi @NigBarAssoc In Nigeria, Many at times, lawyers keep getting it right during their NBA elections. In general elections, they remain culprits supporting illegality for the interest of politicians, thereby destroying the fabrics of democracy bid by bid.

OUR LAWS AND DEMOCRACY MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES The Nigerian Bar Association @NigBarAssoc has closely monitored recent political and legal developments as the nation gradually approaches the 2027 General Elections. These developments, particularly those arising from the interpretation and potential application of provisions of the Electoral Act 2026, raise serious constitutional, democratic, and rule-of-law concerns that require immediate intervention. We particularly deprecate the disturbing involvement by lawyers and courts in the internal affairs of political parties despite the clear provisions of the Electoral Act, 2026, which stipulates in Section 83 of the Act that “No court in Nigeria shall entertain jurisdiction over any suit or matter pertaining to the internal affairs of a political party.” Not only are courts denied jurisdiction to entertain any matter pertaining to the internal affairs of a political party, but they are also precluded from granting any interim or interlocutory injunction even where any action has been brought in violation of the Act. The section further provides that “Where such an action is brought in negation of this provision, no interim or interlocutory injunction shall be entertained by the Court, but the Court shall suspend its ruling and deliver it at the stage of final judgment and shall give accelerated hearing to the matter”. What we now see are situations where actions are not only instituted in Courts by lawyers in clear violation of the Act, but Courts purportedly grant interim and/or interlocutory injunctions in clear contempt of statutory provisions of the law. This does not augur well for our democracy. Democracy will not thrive in a situation where lawyers and courts take actions and decisions that not only negate our laws but also do violence to them. This emerging trend of subverting the clear letters of the Electoral Act and dragging courts into the internal affairs of political parties through disingenuous litigation, forum shopping, and malafide applications designed to secure undemocratic political advantage, bodes no good for our democracy. Such practices, if not immediately curbed, would directly contradict the clear intendment of the Electoral Act and risk transforming the judicial processes into avenues for political score-settling or electoral manipulation. We must reiterate that these provisions were clearly designed to curb abuse of court processes and discourage forum shopping in political disputes. This is therefore why the NBA is concerned that the abuse, misapplication, or selective deployment of these provisions may create opportunities for manipulation capable of undermining democratic competition and shrinking the political space. Members of the Bar are reminded that they are Ministers in the Temple of Justice and not political agents seeking judicial endorsement of partisan objectives. The filing of actions intended to draw courts into internal political party disputes, particularly where jurisdiction is expressly excluded, constitutes an abuse of court process and a violation of professional responsibility. The NBA will take firm steps to deter such conduct. Lawyers who deliberately file actions aimed at procuring judicial interference in intra-party affairs, or who seek ex parte or interlocutory orders in clear violation of statutory provisions, risk facing disciplinary proceedings. We will not hesitate to present petitions before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) against any Legal Practitioner found to be engaging in such conduct. This will be pursued decisively to serve as a deterrent and to preserve the sanctity of the judicial process. The Nigerian judiciary must stay vigilant and resist being drawn into political theatrics. Courts should firmly decline invitations, no matter how artfully crafted, to intervene in matters the law explicitly bars them from. A thread 1/2
