Last night was my final meeting as a councillor for Cobham and Downside. Working with councillors from Oxshott and Cobham I’m pleased that the Local Spending Board was able to come up with a creative solution to fund the following projects: - Road Safety measures on Portsmouth Road (by CFS and the Rec) - Play equipment and new parking facilities for the Royal Kent School - An outdoor learning and wellbeing area for Cobham Free School - 2 footpaths being resurfaced on behalf of Cobham Heritage - Renovation of Little Heath Rec on behalf of FEDORA - A shaded wellbeing area for St Andrews School - new crossings/footpaths on Downside between Downside Road and Bridge Road - play equipment for Painshill park I would like to thank my fellow councillors for a great working relationship over the past few years and thank all of the residents of Cobham, Downside and all of Elmbridge it has been an honor to represent you all and my best of luck to whomever replaces me on Thursday.
