…But they feel compelled to shoehorn their pitch deck, business model and vision into a unicorn-shaped straitjacket, because power law VC is so fetishized and pervasive. More options please. And more spotlight on these options.

VC can be a great catalyst for startups. But it’s only relevant for 0.1% (?) of companies. I wish there were more capital options for the other 99.9% of startups — which won’t ever be worth billions, but are still good, investable businesses.

An alum once described Considered Capital as a "home for wonky-shaped businesses" that feel they don't fit traditional funding models. We like it.

Is there a safe space for female founders raising capital to talk to other female founders raising capital about life, business, etc? It’s such an emotional process and I wish I had a support group I could trust with my emotions and business stuff.
