We made our first 3 sales this month and started charging for consultancy but I'm still thinking this is all a fluke. We've had a couple of false starts before (which no one ever talks about). So, this is what it feels like to enter the land of revenue generation 🙃

@bentossell I’m nervous about building / moving communities on new platforms Slack for communities sucks so bad, but at the same time it’s an app people use all day every day regardless, so you get instant stickiness

I went to @GAILsBakery for lunch and the person serving me said "Hi Sir" then apologised and said "oh sorry" acknowledging they'd addressed me by the wrong gender which is bad enough but then followed up by saying is it a "them / their situation" and laughed 1/2

Recent pattern: founders who tell me upfront or have it teased out that they're pretty uncertain about taking venture capital (versus bootstrapping or angels + other forms of cash). Anyone else seeing this? Or is my niche; founders who are VC resistant 🙃😎
