Breaking News: Congressional Republicans have lied to the public about the "talking filibuster." It was stupid from its inception and the American people never called them out on it. Senate Republicans are just as corrupt as Democrat Senators. Now, put thought behind the filibuster? The filibuster is a stall tactic that both parties use to protect the Senate as a whole for the uniparty that the minority party uses to talk hours to stall a vote that the minority party wants to stall. Republicans are in the majority so which party would want to use the filibuster to stall a vote? Democrats, because they are in the minority. All Senate Republicans have to do is bring the Save Act to the floor for a vote and that would force Democrats to use the filibuster. The talking filibuster is a stupid name for the filibuster that Democrats would be forced to use to stall the Save Act Vote. Republicans are selling it to the public as something that they would have to do which is the LIE.
