Love was in the air (and the library)! 💗📚🐵 We celebrated our friends, teachers, and books with Grumpy Monkey. Students engineered hearts of love using toothpicks and Play-Doh.@IrvingLibraries

Celebrating Black History in the library today with Bessie Coleman! ✈️ Students enjoyed a read-aloud of Flying Free and created their own airplanes to perform daredevil stunts! 📚🛩️ @IrvingLibraries

Students listnened to The Snowy Day and mapped the story sequence using cards and @SpheroEdu Indi cars—bringing literacy, coding, and problem-solving together in the library! ❄️📚@IrvingLibraries

Winter storms may be heading to Texas ❄️ but @fmgilbert students explored science through literature! After reading A Polar Bear in the Snow, students investigated crystallization using a salt-water mixture to create winter art. @IrvingISD @IrvingLibraries
