The magic of PreK3 library time! ✨📚 @CliftonECS students read Who Am I?, guessed animals, listened to sounds from Optimus Lime, then matched each animal to the sound, & identified numbers & shapes. Big thinking, big skills, & so much curiosity from our littlest learners! 🐾🧠

Our library was crawling with celebrities this morning! Ms. Rocha was a guest reader in Ms. Zavala’s class! Optimus Lime played games and sang with us and Ms. White came over for the fun! We used our eyes and ears to ID animals, numbers, letters, & shapes. OH YEAH! #cliftonreads

@BburgCougars fourth graders put their creativity to the test to create Lego rainbows for their leprechauns after reading, How to Catch a Leprechaun, paired with @Novel_Effect! @IrvingLibraries @IrvingISD

Sts kicked off Women’s History Month in the library by reading Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean’s Most Fearless Scientist on Sora. Then they learned about sharks and more about Eugenie using the Lightbox app. @BartonBuff @IrvingLibraries

PK3 students @PierceECPandas explored pets through story, media, &play! 🐾📚After reading My Pet Wants a Pet, they watched Nat Geo clips, matched shapes & colors to create their own pets, &built transportation for them with LEGOs. Literacy, STEM, & imagination all in one lesson!

📚4th 6 Weeks #ExcellenceInAction @IrvingISD librarians have been busy! From teaching engaging, collaborative lessons to circulating books & eBooks & guiding Ss to premium resources, their work continues to drive student success & a💙of learning across our campuses💥🧠🤍📚

Our @Lamar_MS and @IrvingBowie_MS kiddos had a wonderful day filled with fun and books books books! They got to meet authors and get their books signed! And I couldn’t have done it would the help of our teacher volunteers! See you next year @NTTBFest @bowiemslibrary
