Some people have really lost the plot here so I'd like to break down a few simple uncontested facts. Hamas is a brutal terrorist organization which just committed a massacre against Israel and the Jewish people on a level unseen since the Holocaust. Their gruesome and outrageous violations of human rights would be intolerable to ANY NATION. Their attack is the equivalent of FIFTEEN 9/11s. Hamas uses its civilian population as human shields because it has absolutely no regard for human rights, including for its own people who are only used as a pawn in their genocidal mission. Their goal is to maximize the bloodshed of their own people, as it fuels anti-Israel hatred and enriches Hamas. Their leaders live in the lap of luxury while the Palestinian people suffer. None of this is even remotely contested. It is now obvious that it is absolutely necessary to rid the world of these monsters, which is what Israel is attempting to do with minimum civilian harm. Because Hamas wants to both save itself AND harm its citizens for political and monetary gain, it will act with only those two goals in mind. Hamas has already stolen humanitarian aid meant for the Palestinian civilians and blocked and bombed roads to prevent civilians from moving out of the war zone. War isn't pretty but a world in which all civilians are vulnerable to these heinous crimes against humanity is worse. The infographics about the history of the conflict and talk about how to solve the conflict are irrelevant- the ONLY thing that is important in this moment is eliminating these terrorists from the earth. Hamas will never be part of the solution.
