There is an African Proverb “Until the lion has his own historian, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter” which means history is told by the victors who are able to tell the version of the truth they choose, but it’s hardly ever the actual truth, just their truth.

This is the history that Trump, MAGA, and all the Republicans don’t want to acknowledge or have their children be taught. The reason why is because they want to rewrite the history of their ancestors and teach a watered down inaccurate version to the masses.
