In that spirit: Just shipped Thoth v3.14.0, and this is the release that makes Thoth truly multi-provider for both chat and image generation. Thoth is a local-first AI assistant with integrated tools, a personal knowledge graph, voice, vision, shell access, browser automation, scheduled tasks, and a plugin marketplace. Run everything locally via Ollama, or add cloud models when you need frontier reasoning. Either way, nothing leaves your machine. In this release - Claude, Gemini, and Grok join OpenAI and OpenRouter as first-class cloud providers with full key validation, model fetching, and live model pickers. Image generation now works across OpenAI, xAI Grok Imagine, and Google Imagen 4/Nano Banana families. And you can switch models per thread, per task, or even mid-conversation. Nothing is lost, your full context carries over. What else landed: → Prompt-injection defence with 5 scanning layers (instruction override, role impersonation, data exfil, encoding evasion, social engineering) → Workflow Console replacing the side drawer with a real operations panel for running agents, approvals, and quick launch → Media persistence rewrite.
