@SandCResearch How does this correlate with one of your previous posts graph showing repetition strength and max strength were at least to some degree maintained after detraining?

Muscle loss happens many times faster than social media influencers claim. Indeed, this study showed that approximately 50% of the gains achieved by 3 months of training were lost by only 10 days without training, and 30 days were enough to lose everything.

@AdamMeakins @AdamMeakins 100% agree no more improvement over active movement. But I have seen this temporarily allow more pain free range after injuries like an ankle sprain or knee injuries where the patient felt they needed more joint “support”. Or maybe they just had poor joint confidence

Anyone know of any good articles on the use of hand held dynamometers in orthopedic physical therapy? #PTfam #PhysicalTherapy

@AdamMeakins Complicated vs uncomplicated might depend more on the psychosocial limitations back pain imposes, from the patients perspective. Also in my limited experience “uncomplicated” LBP is sometime more complicated to treat than back pain with a specific cause.

45 states have better access laws and 19 of those have unrestricted direct access. None have ever had their laws overturned due to public safety. #freemyhealthcare #PT4AL #PTAccess19

A YES vote to HB 50 and SB 25 means affordability and better access to healthcare. A NO vote means the legislators don't want this for the people of AL. #freemyhealthcare #PT4AL #PTAccess19
