Meet Android Use - an open source library that gives AI agents hands to control native Android apps. It bypasses expensive vision models to run on cheap hardware, automating field ops in places laptops can't go. Watch Android Use in action:

Speaking from experience, here's the real reason why CS new grad recruiting is a little cooked. SWE recruiters don't care about your skills, projects, or GPA anymore. Since supply >> demand, recruiters just need to optimize for precision instead of recall. And there's an easy way recruiters filter aggressively to do this... Your school name. Simply ignore non-target schools. I literally lived through our UCSB career fair dying: > Year 1: Microsoft, Amazon, 10+ small/local companies > Year 2: Amazon stopped coming > Year 3: Microsoft stopped coming > Year 4: Appfolio, a company headquartered 10 min away from UCSB stopped coming. AppLovin and 5+ other local companies stopped coming. IIRC, only 2 small companies hiring SWEs showed up. Each booth with a 45 minute long line. I have a new grad friend at one of aforementioned companies, and they told me their recruiters were explicitly instructed to stop attending career fairs at UCSB and only attend those at Berkeley, Stanford, etc. There's definitely some COPE in this perspective😔. Of course, the median students at target schools generally work harder and do more. But it makes it incredibly hard for eager students at non-target schools to be recognized.

> bro applied to +200 internships > got 1 unpaid offer, did it for 7 months > is graduating with a 4.0 GPA > did full stack large-scale web dev > did research in an AI lab HE CANNOT GET A JOB. “even if I did get a job I’d be wrangling with AI 1-2 years until you have AIs that can wrangle themselves and I’m not even useful anymore.”

We're open-sourcing Cua Driver - our new macOS driver that lets any agent (Claude Code, Codex, your own loop) drive any app in the background, with true multi-player and multi-cursor built-in. 1/8

It's been exactly one year since publishing Agent S2 with @SimularAI, and it's incredible to reflect on how quickly the field of computer use agents have progressed. If you aren't convinced that computer use is going to be the future, you should be. Back in March 2025, I remember being super hyped breaking 30% on OSWorld for the first time (and achieving SOTA). Fast forward to today, frontier models are closing in on 80%. Tiny 8B models surpass our old scores. Every top lab recognizes the potential and is working towards it (Claude Computer Use, OpenAI CUA, Grok Computer, etc.). Dozens of startups are working on data, environments, and observability explicitly for CUAs. All this progress just within a year. Breakthroughs turn into baselines. The impossible turns into the expectation.

Our autonomous pentesting agent just outperformed the two most popular open source offensive security agents on a benchmark of 60 modern, defense-enabled web apps. Battle-tested in production against our customers' environments from startups to financial institutions, Apex consistently finds and exploits critical vulnerabilities other agents and humans miss. Today we're releasing it open source alongside our internal benchmarks.

I would love an OS optimized for AI. Apps and tools built specifically for retrieval and action. Auto-embed all local data. Text-field replaces navigation bar. LoRA on local AI agents for lightweight tasks Is anybody working on this?

i'm shooting my shot: @justinkan come join me on ep 1 of the show. the show is for tech GOATs only. and episode 1 needs someone with real AURA. the guy who: - owns @goat_capital 🐐 - tattooed a lion on his arm 🦁 - sold @Twitch to @amazon for $1B. started therapy. became a DJ. and still building? - streamed his entire life 24/7 in 2007. before streaming was even a thing. - invented live streaming. but was never live on a show. and again... AURA here's my offer: 📆 sat 3/21 - 8:00PM PST in SF. i dare you. this will be the best "podcast" you've ever been to. if you hate it. i'll tattoo your name on my body. and i've never had a tattoo before.

3 months ago we started building an IDE for the AI agents era Today we’re introducing Superset: an open source app for running any agents in parallel. And today we launched Chat 😉, enabling us to build way more superpowers into how users interact with agents (@ context, link Linear tickets, / commands, etc)
