Our day at @ethconf 2026 reflected where the industry is headed. Conversations weren't about whether institutional adoption is coming: they were about execution. Meetings with founders, investors, infrastructure providers, and enterprise leaders all pointed to the same trend: digital assets and onchain finance are becoming part of the financial mainstream. What stood out most was the quality of the dialogue. Less hype, more deployment. Less speculation, more infrastructure. The focus has shifted to building scalable, institutional-grade products that solve real-world problems.

Last month I spent a week in NYC for Tech Week and ETHConf. A few highlights: - Argentina, everywhere. Spent time at the Argentine Consulate connecting with fellow Argentinians building companies and products all over the world. Its amazing to see how far our community goes. - Visited Meta offices. Such a cool experience. - @Vault__Summit right at the NYSE. Surreal setting for a crypto/tech event, and a great example of how mainstream finance and this space keep getting closer. - Web2 x Web3 colliding. A handful of side events made it clear: the line between these two worlds keeps getting thinner. The best conversations happened right at that intersection. - @ethconf marked as the first “institutional” Ethereum conference, and you could feel it. A different tone, a different audience, a signal of where the space is heading. - Sunny morning runs. Amid the packed schedule, made time for some quick morning runs to disconnect and clear my head before the day kicked off. NYC you always have a place in my heart. Grateful to have been part of it, and to the friends who shared this trip with me.

Last Wednesday at @ethconf, STS Digital CEO @maxime_sts_ joined @perkinscr97 , incoming Head of Crypto at @FTDA_US, for a Main Stage fireside on one of the defining questions facing our industry: What does the institutional stack for digital assets actually look like? The discussion moved well beyond headlines and into the infrastructure that will underpin the next era of capital markets, from market structure and tokenization to AI, interoperability, and the evolution of institutional participation in a truly 24/7 financial system. One observation that particularly resonated: “Token prices and launching itself is really just the rail where finance and value moves from A to B. The AI part is the intelligence layer.” As digital assets mature, the conversation is no longer about whether institutions will participate, but how the underlying architecture will support global liquidity, programmable value transfer, risk management, and intelligent capital allocation at scale. The future of capital markets isn't simply onchain. It's continuous, connected, and increasingly automated. spent a week in NYC for @ETHconf! Some people say nothing is being built on crypto for years but the story I found on the ground was different🧵👇

We hosted Early at @ethconf with @boundless_xyz & @RWA_xyz . Every guest was chosen with intention and @hypepartners's concierge service introduced them morning of the event, to make the room feel already warm. A few things we learned as we wrapped our pilot: 1. morning is an untapped window. by the time dinner rolls around, social bandwidth is low moving the format to 8:30am meant we tapped into people when they were sharp and open. 2. intention. connections. we optimised for alignment with our brekkie. every guest was chosen with intention, bringing together partners we believed would be genuinely glad to be in the same room as each other. 3. kill the cold intro. before the brekkie began, every attendee told us the 2 people they most wanted to meet. We made the introduction personally the morning of, over tg/email. 80% of attendees signed up. We're already hearing about partnerships that came out of it. 4. food should come to the conversation a hard sell for us to the hotel as passed around breakfast is not very common. historically buffets are the way to go. but we wanted guests to spend time on connecting and speaking instead of queueing up for food at 8am. food came to them instead. Early is coming to @kbwofficial, @token2049, and @solana breakpoint later this year, with new formats and new tools for making the matching feel less like a service and more like a natural part of the room.
