If you’re unvaccinated, talk to your doctor about the benefits of vaccines. If you don’t have a doctor, read what doctor’s organizations like the American Medical Association have said.
You don’t know how this virus will interact with your body. Don’t act like you do. Be humble.

@sarahzhang As a pharmacist in Texas, we just started (today) giving vaccines to people other than LTCFs. We now do 65 and up, BUT we also do below 65 with certain health conditions, and there is NO REQUIREMENT OF PROOF of those conditions. You can see where this is going.

Quit trying to scare people. Actually, only 27% of ICU beds at Texas Medical Center are #COVID19 patients and nearly all will recover. 70% of ICU beds are non-#COVID19 patients.

We're at the edge of the cliff. After these next few days, we will not have enough beds to care for all of the incoming #COVID19 patients. Then people die. Unfortunately, Governor Abbott is still taking a wait and see approach. Waiting for local leaders to do his job for him.

@DonnaYoungDC @sbg1 Since this a prescription medication, I would be curious to know the current laws for the board of pharmacy in DC (unless he came by it elsewhere such as NY). TX, for example, only allows prescription under strict parameters.
