@KKBahl @thecybermentor So this video is all about BoF, if you are trying to follow along, vulnserver binds to port 9999.. its static within vulnserver.. if this is another app I cant help you hack it, not because i cant, but because laws.

@infenet @thecybermentor Using netstat I checked that my service is not listening on any port like vulnserv.exe was listening on port 9999....I was not able to replicate the test shown in video... What to do.?

@KKBahl @thecybermentor Look for changes in opened ports. Check netstat -tulpn

@infenet @thecybermentor As we saw in video that vulnserv. Exe communicates on port 9999, similarly how to know that my own exe is running on which port..??

@KKBahl @thecybermentor Debugging and disassembly are the primary methods. Look into OllyDbg and Ghidra for that kind of task.
