تشرفنا بلقاء سمو الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة قطارات الاتحاد، في قصر الوطن بأبوظبي، حيث اطّلع سموه على مستجدات مشروعيّ قطار البضائع وقطار الركاب، والخطط المستقبلية للشركة لتطوير منظومة الخدمات اللوجستية وتعزيز الربط بين مختلف إمارات الدولة. واستمع سموه إلى شرح حول الاستعدادات النهائية لإطلاق مشروع قطار الركاب المرتقب خلال العام الجاري، مشيداً بجهود فرق العمل والإنجازات المتواصلة التي تعكس رؤية الإمارات في بناء شبكة نقل وطنية حديثة ومستدامة.

سعدنا بزيارة سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع رئيس المجلس التنفيذي لإمارة دبي، إلى محطة جبل علي للشحن بالسكك الحديدية، حيث تفقد سموه سير العمل في المحطة، واطلع على منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية المتكاملة، والدور الذي تؤديه في تعزيز التكامل بين الموانئ وشبكة السكك الحديدية الوطنية، بما يدعم حركة التجارة ويرفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد في دولة الإمارات. وتعكس هذه الزيارة اهتمام سموه ودعمه المستمر للمشاريع الوطنية الاستراتيجية، فيما تواصل قطارات الاتحاد تطوير منظومة نقل حديثة تسهم في تعزيز الربط بين المراكز الحيوية والاقتصادية في الدولة، وترسخ مكانة الإمارات مركزاً عالمياً للتجارة والخدمات اللوجستية.

Etihad Rail was honoured by the visit of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. During the visit, H.H. reviewed the progress of operations at the Jebel Ali Rail Freight terminal and was briefed on its integrated transport and logistics ecosystem, which enhances trade movement and supply chain efficiency across the UAE by connecting ports and railways. With H.H.’s ongoing support for strategic national projects, Etihad Rail continues to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for trade and logistics services by linking ports and key destinations through the national railway network in line with the highest operational standards.

Today, I visited Jebel Ali Port and met with the DP World team to review the port's operational performance amid the company’s expansion in land transport and rail operations through major projects such as the Jebel Ali Rail Terminal, which has a planned future capacity of 1.6 million TEUs annually. Over the past two months, DP World has handled more than 200,000 TEUs through overland truck and rail corridors. DP World is a key driver of global trade, facilitating around 10% of trade flows, with operations spanning 80 countries across six continents. We are confident in DP World’s ability to overcome challenges and continue driving growth and innovation through its expertise and global partnerships.

زرت اليوم ميناء جبل علي والتقيت فريق العمل في موانئ دبي العالمية، واطلعت على الاستجابة التشغيلية في ظل التوسّع في عمليات النقل البري والسكك الحديدية عبر مشاريع نوعية، مثل محطة جبل علي للشحن بالسكك الحديدية حيث ستصل الطاقة الاستيعابية للمحطة إلى 1.6 مليون حاوية نمطية سنوياً، وخلال الشهرين الماضيين، تعاملت المجموعة مع 200 ألف حاوية نمطية عبر ممرات النقل البري والسكك الحديدية ... موانئ دبي العالمية اليوم قوة محركة لما يقارب 10% من حركة التجارة العالمية، بعمليات تمتد عبر 80 دولة في القارات الست، ونحن نثق بقدرة موانئ دبي العالمية بما تمتلكه من خبرات متراكمة وشراكات استراتيجية عالمية، على تجاوز أي تحديات ومواصلة مسيرة النمو والابتكار.

We were honoured to meet with H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Etihad Rail, at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. His Highness reviewed the latest developments across both the freight and passenger rail projects, as well as the company’s future plans, including the expansion of its logistics services ecosystem and strengthening connectivity across the Emirates. His Highness also received a detailed briefing on the final preparations for the introduction of the highly anticipated passenger rail service, which is scheduled to begin operations later this year, commending the team’s efforts and the scale of accomplishments supporting the UAE’s vision of building a modern and sustainable national railway network.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Etihad Rail, met with a delegation led by His Excellency Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, along with a number of the company’s senior leaders and employees, during which His Highness commended the team’s efforts and notable achievements in advancing the implementation and operations of the national railway network. His Highness emphasised that these continued milestones reflect the leadership’s vision of developing an integrated infrastructure that further reinforces the UAE’s position as a leading regional hub for transport and logistics.

Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed has met @Etihad_Rail employees and senior leaders at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi, and reviewed the freight and passenger rail projects, as well as future plans, including expanding the logistics services ecosystem to enhance connectivity across the UAE.

وقّعت شركة قطارات الاتحاد للشحن إحدى شركات قطارات الاتحاد، مذكرتَي تفاهم مع موانئ دبي العالمية وشركة "فيرتيغلوب"، خلال فعاليات "اصنع في الإمارات 2026" التي أُقيمت في مركز أدنيك أبوظبي. وتأتي هذه الاتفاقيات في إطار تعزيز التعاون الاستراتيجي لدعم القطاع الصناعي والخدمات اللوجستية في دولة الإمارات، عبر تطوير حلول نقل أكثر كفاءة واستدامة، وتوسيع نطاق الربط مع موانئ الساحل الشرقي، وفتح ممرات تجارية جديدة. @DPWorldUAE @fertiglobe

Etihad Rail Freight, a subsidiary of Etihad Rail, signed MoUs with both @dpworlduae and @fertiglobe during the 5th edition of the Make it in the Emirates, held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. These agreements reflect a shared commitment to strengthening strategic collaboration in support of the UAE’s industrial and logistics sectors through the development of more efficient and sustainable transport solutions, expanding connectivity with East Coast ports and opening new trade corridors.

على هامش فعاليات الدورة الخامسة من منصة "اصنع في الإمارات 2026"، وقّعت شركة قطارات الاتحاد وشركة "بروج بي إل سي"، الرائدة في مجال البتروكيماويات، مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز الربط المتكامل عبر السكك الحديدية من الرويس إلى موانئ الساحل الشرقي. ووقّع مذكرة التفاهم كلٌ من سعادة شادي ملك، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة قطارات الاتحاد، وهزيم سلطان السويدي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "بروج بي إل سي". وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين في مجالات النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، ودعم سلاسل الإمداد الصناعية عبر حلول نقل مستدامة وفعّالة بالسكك الحديدية، بما يعزز كفاءة الشحن ويسهم في خفض الانبعاثات الكربونية، امتداداً للتعاون القائم بين الطرفين. @borouge

On the sidelines of the 5th edition of the Make it in the Emirates, Etihad Rail signed an MoU with @Borouge Plc, a leading petrochemicals company providing innovative polyolefin solutions, to strengthen integrated rail connectivity from Ruwais to the UAE’s eastern coast ports. The MoU was signed by H.E. Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, and Hazeem Sultan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Borouge Plc. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration between both parties across transport and logistics services, while supporting industrial supply chains through sustainable and efficient rail solutions. The partnership will contribute to improving freight efficiency and reducing carbon emissions, further building on the longstanding cooperation between the two entities.
