@timonther6 Good thinking. As a fellow Down man, I would love BBC to show more games throughout the year so a good way to encourage that. In the meantime, if there is no game on BBC (especially during the club season after the County season ends) you can find games on either RTE or TG4.

@etimes2ltd The BBC are gonna show it. So I think by watching it there it helps grow the support of showing it in future. 🤷‍♂️

So today the BBC will show a hurling game (BBC2 1500) I’ve only ever watched about 20 mins of a game. It’s frantic, fast, and bloody lethal. I don’t know the rules, but I know I’ll love it.

@SorchaEastwood You are absolutely correct Sorcha. If the culture is toxic, people will not want to stay or work there. It doesn't matter how much you pay people - they will still queue up to get out of a toxic workplace.

Pay is a huge factor, no doubt. But what concerns me most here are the references to toxic culture. Pay will not fix that. We must make sure our clinicians and healthcare workers are empowered to speak up, are listened to and concerns acted on. Toxic culture turns ppl away.

@etimes2ltd So sorry you are going through this Nigel, you are so right it strips people of dignity & their carers of dignity. We know so little about this illness and yet it is endemic. Bittersweet though that you have the wee gem of her still shining through with her sense of humour ❤️
