We recognize persistent challenges relating to youth unemployment and NEET rates, and call for enhanced coordination between employment services, VET institutions, trade unions and employers, with special attention to rural   areas and vulnerable groups.

Full implementation of VET framework (vocational education and training) requires the timely adoption of outstanding sub-legislative acts and strengthened, institutionalized cooperation with trade unions and employers to ensure high-quality, labor-market-relevant training

Positive development of passing year is the ratification of the @ilo Convention 190 We look forward for its integration into the Labour Code & encourage the development of implementation mechanisms, support to businesses, capacity-building for labour inspection & judicial bodies

We stress the importance of modernizing 🇦🇲's OSH framework in line with CEPA and 🇪🇺 standards, incl. shift towards preventive, risk-based approach supported by adequate enforcement capacity & employer training, developing clear timelines & roadmaps for OSH under #CEPA

Have you heard about OSH? Well, Armenia certainly hasn't. OSH - Occupational Safety and Health - set of norms and regulations to enforce & promote safe, healthy & supportive work environment. So far 🇦🇲 has no meanigful national regulation on this, which is counter-european! 👇

One more reminder, that strengthened cooperation between education institutions, social partners and public authorities is important to better address skills mismatches and support a   modern, competitive economy

We not that, while the adoption of the revised Labour Code of Armenia in 2023 represented an important step, its effective implementation requires strengthened enforcement, monitoring, and structured social dialogue among employers, trade unions and government.

🇪🇺🇦🇲 We encourage continued reforms to enhance asset-forfeiture mechanisms, beneficial-ownership transparency and oversight of public procurement and   private-sector integrity, ensuring alignment with European and @OECD standards

✅Good that 🔷Corruption Prevention Commission 🔷Anti-Corruption Committee 🔷specialised Prosecutor's Office units 🔷Anti-Corruption Court are operational in 🇦🇲 ⚠️ But also needed: 👉strengthened independence 👉adequate resources 👉improved implementation practices

❗️ Due to latest events, we remind that freedom of expression in Armenia must remains fully protected, while any limitations must comply with international human-rights standards, pursue legitimate aims, and be necessary in a democratic society.

It is important to safeguard equality before the law and ensuring that pre-trial detention is used only as a measure of last resort, in line with European standards. It is concerning that pre-trial detention is applied frequently. We encourage to strengthen judicial oversight.

We are concerned about instances of excessive use of force by @ArmenianPolice in 2025 and 2026, and we remind about the need to strengthen independent and effective investigations into such cases, ensuring accountability and public trust.

Last year there were 2 new milestones: new EU-Armenia Partnership Agenda (we call it CEPA+) and VLAP! These r ambitious framework complementing #CEPA on security, resilience, diversification & regulatory approximation. Must be implemented inclusive, transparent & rights-based way

We emphasises the need to accelerate reforms in the rule of law, justice, public administration, human-rights protection, policing & penitentiary and probation services, & calls for strengthened efforts to ensure transparent, effective & timely implementation of these reforms.
