I think it’s a little harder than you think outside of major meter areas plus it’s the classic chicken and the egg. They just don’t have the volume yet. They’ve produced about as many cars as lucid tops. It’s OK. You just need to know going into it is a hobby car. And they do great design anyone who is owned one who I respect has told me about a variety of different issues with the software in the hardware similar to when Tesla first started.

@eudamon You can get your Rivian serviced basically everywhere in the US. It’s a non issue if you don’t live in the boonies.

I love Rivian, but $2,000 for paint on (what is supposed to be) their “mainstream” car is insane. They are smoking crack.

@elonmusk super glad starlink is doing so well. For those of us are long-term customers it’d be nice instead of an increase that we get some kind of benefit or credit because we believed early on and helped with the capital expenditures rather than sending a note saying hey we’re doing so well, we’re gonna raise your rates without any improvements and features.
