@katarou4haruhi Because you're all arrogant enough to think we don't care about it and just "steal" from creators, despite neither trying to understand how those things work overseas nor how we approach the situation.

既に、「コンテンツを買えない貧困者」を引き合いに出したり、「海賊版がバリューを高める役に立った」とか言い出してる人がかなりいるんで、「払えるなら海賊版など手を出さなかった」という主張はあまり信用されなくなってる。

@azukiglg Yet again. It's not about value. It's about service. I dunno if I got translation butchered, but I think what I meant was pretty clear when I said "Piracy is a matter of service, not price". Value doesn't matter nearly as much as good service. Get that through your head.

@azukiglg I don't get where japanese people got the idea mass pirating happens because people don't wanna pay. It happens precisaly because people >can't< pay. Yet again Valve was right all along - piracy is a matter of service, not price.

One of the interesting arguments the JP side has had against Stop Killing Games is that to make an offline version or would cost 50% to 100% more of the games original budget to do it. I'm not sure if this is just a blatant lie, genuine incompetence or total ignorance. We have guys with no access to the source code able to reverse engineer servers with, relatively speaking, minimal effort. If Joe Everyman can do it for 0 dollars in his basement without the nessecary information, how come companies that actually have that information apparently can't do?
