One of the absolute coolest things about FF7 is how little we truly know about Jenova. This space parasite wants to eat the planet, sick.

@eurascal You could be right. I wasn’t throwing shade on the remakes, it’s just the trend for media these days to over explain mysteries

@Prazkat @UsernameWords The black materia lore drop related to the Gi is super sick. I mean it's a tragedy and sorrowful but a real neat bit of lore

@eurascal @UsernameWords Nah, they only hint that the Gi come from another planet, and that the Ancients may have tried to weaponize Jenova against them, but thats pretty much it.

@UsernameWords Above all else I actually dont think they're going to go too heavily on Jenova. If remake has proven anything it's how much it wants to push Sephiroth even more to the forefront as the big-bad. But I guess we will see

Octopath Traveler scratched an itch that I hadnt felt since playing Final Fantasy V. The job system is truly phenomenal! A testament to amazing turnbased combat and visuals

@MevariNavalo I think that's one of the most vocalised points of criticism. I can only say that it didnt bother me personally, but is absolutely rectified in the sequel!

@eurascal The job system in Octopath traveler is amazing and the music is some of the best I've ever heard. My only gripe is I wish your party actually talked to each other during cutscenes. And I'm kinda meh on the plot being eight tiny stories that converge at the end.
