The @NHS is broken. I got an invite to book an exam and there is no availability ever to book an exam. This is absurd.

@Metro_Bank So I spoke to someone Friday for 50 min who assured me I would be getting the transaction history in my email within 48 hours. It is Monday, at about 60+ hours. No email. And that T&Cs acceptance is still broken. Can someone help?

@Metro_Bank Hi. Thanks. Tried all those. Have been on the phone with a human for 40+ min. Nothing works. Am asking them for a download of my complete transaction history so I can finally close the (non-functional) account. Hope they can do that. Am tired. 😥

@cwodtke I feel that PM focuses more on « what’s next » and « what’s the vision » whereas UX is more about « why this, do users need it » and « how will it flow »

I could use a hand with a heated discussion I'm having, and I know you are all the perfect folks to answer: what are all the things that a UX designer does that a product manager doesn't do as well or is an educated for. What is the unique value of a UX designer?

@cwodtke A UX person should be able to translate user research into product & service concepts. Conduct resesrch to prioritise them, and be great at defining the mental model, flow, information, features, and interactions required for humans to complete their quests / meet needs.

@cwodtke A PM should be great at figuring out which order features should be released, what the team should work on next based on where they want to be in six weeks, and directing product areas of exploration and growth. (Writing proper epics & stories & ACs would be ace)

@_spacemaker @hpdailyrant I have friends in that situation. Freelancing had been crippled by HMRC changing IR35 law about 4 years ago. And those jobs are still a challenge to get. There is no trite answer here. There is no safety net. It is terrifying.
