@LawrenceDCodes Not advising anyone to take GLP1s, just my personal journey. If you can make things work w/ out medication, I'm all for it! (disclaimer) ♥️
English

@LawrenceDCodes 100% transparency, I'm trying to get insurance to cover a GLP1, #1 to ease up on my heart, #2 lighten the joints (back and knees). I'm pretty fit, but always struggled w/ healthy cardio outside of class or group efforts.

@LawrenceDCodes Dude, those are the numbers of a healthy 30 year old. So freaking cool! I'm following @LawrenceDCodes, not this guy ...

@femkesvs Just saw the video, so Stitch can see repositories, or web pages to "see a design system", wondering how it Grok'd a DS!

@femkesvs Gotta check this out soon... I'm excited. I might migrate fully of paid ChatGPT and just do Claude / Gemini (Google based) paid products in the future ...

@melodyshar Us older folks used CodeMonkey by Wired Magazine, and bought DVDs from Lynda.com (and even went to her actual school in Ojai!) ... whatever it takes to get ahead as a creative ...

I studied graphic design in college, and I still remember my very first interview at a tech company out of college. I brought in a physical printed portfolio with all my work from school. I thought I was walking into a design role until this happened:
PM: Do you mind coding all day
Me: Uh… no?
A little while later, I find out I’m being hired as an intern with barely any engineering background and coding experience.
I will never forget that day. It’s one of those moments you look back on and appreciate because it ended up putting me at a great company with a great culture, a place that let me learn and grow in all the ways I needed as a junior.
I learned how to use GitHub through Treehouse and slowly figured out JavaScript, CSS and Ruby on Rails.
I look back at that time and remember the mentors who encouraged me to keep going. I’m so grateful I was given that opportunity and a brand new laptop to take home from work.

concept for a customer success page.
created a component that loads SVGs and converts them to 3d geometries with threejs, then those are wrapped with the particles

@jb_61820 Wonderfully cinematic and an ultra simplistic form, dealing with selfish characters all on uniquely different tracks of live converging upon each other. Pacing, acting and pure oddity displaying the human experience.

Can someone explain what is so great about "No Country for Old Men"? I watched it. I apparently didn't get it at all - I thought it was stupid and pointless. A few good lines, mostly only good when removed from the film's actual context.
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog
Absurd list. No Country For Old Men is the best film of the century, hands down.

@MichealCodes I use this technique for learning other languages : )

Want to Level Up Faster as a Developer?
Improve the way you read code, not just the way you write it.
Most developers focus only on writing:
new syntax, new features, new frameworks.
But here’s the secret nobody talks about 👇🏾
Your ability to read and understand existing code determines your growth speed.
When you read code, you learn:
- How other developers solve problems
- How to spot patterns that repeat across systems
- What clean vs. messy code actually looks like
- How to debug faster
- How to build on top of existing work confidently
Great developers aren’t just great writers, they’re great interpreters.
Because at the end of the day:
You’ll spend more time reading code in your career than writing it.
Master that skill, and everything else becomes easier.
Curious, do you prefer reading clean codebases or messy ones 👇🏾

@zendadddy You owe yourself some carves, big turns and a power slide or two bro : )

@hemeon A friend is suggesting I micro dose both, looking into w/ my doctor, but might buy open market solutions. Seeing if my insurance covers it first : )
