I have no desire to confront Russia just for the sake of it. But if you mean standing up to it after its unprovoked, brutal, barbaric invasion of Ukraine then colour me guilty. I’ve known about the sad state of our Navy for many years, not just two weeks. And I’m well aware that we’d have to cannibalise our tanks just to get a handful of them working. It’s why I’ve been arguing for a much bigger defence budget for quite some time, including in today’s Mail. Thanks for the offer of a drink but, bad though things are, I’ve not yet started having whiskey for breakfast. Maybe I’ll have a drink when you tell me something I don’t know.

The vaccine dosage was obviously too high and done too many times. I had the original Wuhan virus before there was any vaccine and it was much like any other cold/flu. Bad, but not terrible. But my second vaccine shot almost sent me to the hospital. Felt like I was dying.
