Despite severe weather/potentially destructive storms expected in Nebraska on Thursday evening, the NWS Omaha didn’t launch a morning weather balloon — because they couldn’t. Many NWS offices across the Corn Belt, the High Plains and the Front Range didn’t launch balloons.

Well, it finally happened. Chrome crashed and didn’t restore properly. I lost my 70+ tabs I’ve been hoarding and refused to close since roughly 2019, way back in college. It is a sad day, please send your condolences.

JUST IN: Representative Darrell Issa has just violated the STOCK Act. He disclosed $175,000,000 (!!!!) of Treasury transactions late, by over 500 days. His fine for breaking the law will be $200, if he is forced to pay it. Most in Congress do not pay the fine.

The number of new homes for sale in the Southern Region (FL, GA, TN, TX, etc.) has spiked up to nearly 300,000, per Nick Gerli. This is the highest level of all-time. Even higher than the previous bubble peak in August 2006.

It is a hopeful sign for our country when a political opponent calls for one's protection. Maybe our country can unite after all.
