@MickOKeeffe Communists/socialists hate people who can think for themselves and have their shit together. It's literally that simple.

"Ryan Casey is a piece of sh*t." Lads, we have another one. Former People Before Profit candidate Joe Loughnane (who admitted to drug dealing) has taken to social media to join Síomha Hennessey's attacks on Ryan Casey. If you don't know Joe, he was suspended from People Before Profit in 2020 for assaulting a young woman. A man who beat up his girlfriend is now having a go at a man whose girlfriend was stabbed to death by a foreigner.

Jozef Puska was an EU citizen. Our “immigration policies” had nothing to with the fact that he could live/work here My heart breaks for Ryan Casey, and as much as I believe he has been groomed by the right as a symbol for their dogma, his rhetoric is no less harmful and divisive
Trish@Trish_NornIron

Ireland’s immigration policies cost Ryan Casey the life he should have had with Ashling. He has every right to talk about it. Those trying to shame and silence him are the dregs of humanity.

Claude Code + Nano Banana 2 is f*cking cracked 🤯 I built a skill inside Claude Code that writes JSON image prompts for Nano Banana 2, and the outputs look like they came from a professional photo shoot. One plain-text prompt. Claude rewrites it as structured JSON with lighting, camera, composition, style, and negative prompts. Then fires it off to Nano Banana 2. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who need high-volume ad creative without booking a shoot. If you're using Nano Banana 2 for product shots and lifestyle images but every generation feels like pulling a slot machine lever — random lighting, inconsistent style, plastic skin, misspelled labels ... This skill fixes the entire output: → You describe what you want in plain English → Claude rewrites it as a structured JSON prompt (lighting, camera angle, lens, depth of field, color grading — all of it) → Fires it to Nano Banana 2 via API → Saves the prompt + image in organized folders → You iterate on the style until it's dialed, then every output matches No more slot machine prompting. No more inconsistent brand imagery. No more burning credits on unusable generations. What you get: - Photo-realistic product shots and lifestyle images on demand - Full control over style, lighting, composition, and camera settings - Saved JSON prompts you can reuse across every campaign - A skill that gets smarter the more feedback you give it Built 100% in Claude Code with a custom skill + Python scripts. I put together a full playbook showing the exact skill, the JSON schema, and the workflow to set this up yourself. Want the full playbook? > Like this post > Comment "BANANA" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

NanoBanana 2 just made your static ad agency obsolete. And I just open sourced the entire tool. Drop your product page URL. It pulls your logos, product images, fonts, colors, and brand voice automatically. Builds a full brand guide for you. Then generates ad creatives at scale using nearly 4,000 high-performing ad templates across 8 niches. It dynamically matches the best templates to your brand and brief. Here's what makes it different: → Instant resizing Get any ad in 1x1, 4x5, 9x16 with one click. No regeneration. No broken text. → Highlight-to-edit See an issue? Highlight the area and tell it what to fix. → Multiple brand profiles Run different brands or segments from one tool. → Auto persona building from real customer reviews → Multiple QC loops on briefs and final assets Catches AI-isms before you do. → Upload your own templates or use ours Runs locally. Just needs your Claude and Google API keys. This is the lite version of what we use internally. You get the full finished tool AND the open source code to make it your own. Creatives still design the system, this handles iteration and scale. Want a copy to download? 1. Like this post 2. Comment "AI" Will DM you the tool along with a tutorial shortly after.

This little restaurant in Santa Monica sells Fruit Omakase for $60. They have reservations going back weeks now. They make it a point to source the best ingredients, hand done technique all from Japan. I’ve become obsessed with these businesses that are high margin experiences that happen to serve food as a core part of the experience. (Elly Amai in Santa Monica)

@Willob For sure, seems undeniable. I see it like MMA. In the 90s you could do an armbar and had 30 minutes of cardio then you could be a UFC champ. In the 2020s you're gonna need to wrestle Dagestani kids that grew up Spartan style on the mountainside

This will ruffle feathers but in many ways it seems that tech entrepreneurship (software specifically) in the 2000s/2010s was just easier Nice macro waves to ride, lots of money injected into the system post-08, lots of low-hanging fruit ideas, etc. Obviously there are exceptions but as a general rule this seems fair
yung macro 宏观年少传奇@apralky

Between this, DOGE, etc. is it fair to say that the 2000s/2010s domains of wealth creation were so anomalous in their simplicity (social media, phone apps...) that they falsely updated an entire generation against the merit of deep experience, only for us to then foolishly start stumbling back into necessary correctives in the 2020s as complexity recovered from the trough? E.g. obviously a Zuckerberg was great at doing Facebook, but probably wouldn't have been so great at Nvidia!

So now I've had to pay €500 for a new flight to Washington which I'm supposedly on time for. Even though it's the exact same timeframe that I had when I got to the top of the queue for my original flight and was told I was too late?????

@AerLingus just arrived at Dublin Airport 2 hours before my flight. Online check-in not working. Massive queue to check in with 2 people working. 40 mins in the queue and when I get to the top they tell me I'm too late (flight leaving in 1hr20m). Very little sympathy, a few half arsed phonecalls trying to find the right person. Tell me tough and waste 30 mins doddering around. Have now missed my flight. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!

@RossMackay111 Caveat I'm 90% certain this is still true. Technically you'd be shipping from within both EU and UK.

@RossMackay111 Northern Ireland is the hack. Shipping to Europe and UK bypassing complicated customs taxes. A loophole from Brexit 👍

I’m looking to launch Cadence across Europe online. We currently have fulfillment set up in the UK, but I’d love to connect with anyone who has experience scaling DTC across the EU specifically around cross-border shipping, VAT, IOSS, duties, 3PL strategy, and whether it makes sense to hold inventory in mainland Europe vs. shipping from the UK. If you’ve built or advised a consumer brand doing meaningful online volume in Europe, I’d really appreciate a quick chat. Thanks in advance, feel free to DM or intro.

Aside from being the Greens' first by-election victory, I think there are two take aways from Gorton & Denton. (1) Turnout was up on the General Election. Don't remember this happening before. Shows that people will show up if they feel there is real choice (2) Muslims were willing to vote for a party led by a jewish gay man because they thought it better represented their interests than any other, just like large numbers of mainly younger jews in New York turned out for vote for Mamdani.
