Everchess will use web3 features, but never a token. The fusion of elements a token brings (pros and cons) doesn't align with the long-term vision for Everchess. Tokens make sense for some projects, but not for all projects. @everchessapp, requires a masses friendly approach, a frictionless, engaging, and rewarding experience for players of all ages and walks of life. An experience without uncertainties from a fluctuating token valuation majorly controlled by external factors influencing players, holders and the Everchess brand. An NFT that holds value through its art, in-game use and rewards makes most sense, along with staking to complement the value of long-term holders. Only one genesis collection to form a core community and help fund the growth and development of Everchess. With exceptions for partnership drops with web3 brands that have established Art/IP, only for cosmetic use. The rest just in-app skins like LoL, CSGO, Fortnite. Also only for cosmetic use. Powered by an in-app economy and in-app currency (think V-Bucks). This web2 focused approach allows us to tap into the global chess community at the highest levels. Bringing value at scale to chess players all around the world is the purpose and long-term north star of Everchess. December. Launching is my birthday gift to myself.

Solo founding Everchess has been an amazing learning experience that has already brought many blessings. Yes, this *can* be a lonely and difficult process at times. However, the pros of bringing your vision to life+living on your terms far outweigh the cons. I have conviction in my vision and capabilities to build. Commited to launching and scaling @everchessapp.

Solana mobile hackathon was a great experience. Personally, the timeframe didn’t align for me to complete the @everchessapp MVP as the solo founder. For me, this changes nothing in the grand scheme of things :) If you like chess, I’m building something really cool for chess players. Eventually— Launching on both web and mobile.

Building cracked AI agents and systems that can fulfill the roles otherwise fulfilled by other team members will prove increasingly beneficial. The leanest, most efficient and effective teams that utilize the full capabilities of AI are likely to win. One person with AI > One small team without AI One small team w AI > One enterprise without AI The speed, efficiency and effectiveness of having a 24/7 genius at your disposal ready to implement or strategize any endeavor or task at hand, removes interdependence inefficiencies. The landscape is changing quickly for all fields. Especially the AI/Business/VC field. Building @everchessapp status update: Chewing glass + staring into the abyss. After 3 unsuccessful builds because of outdated or incomplete information, I’m currently on my 4th build of building the @everchessapp on Web, iOS, Android via a Expo / React Native tech stack. One of the biggest hurdles throughout the process has been implementing the same authentication functionalities on the React Native Web build as the React Native mobile builds. Most SDKs optimize for either web or mobile. This is specifically related to web2/web3 authentication provider SDKs like Privy, @get_para, among others. What made the process a little more complicated was that neither web nor mobile SDKs were optimized for React Native Web builds, likely because it’s an unconventional approach. Implemented different SDKs for web and mobile but had to make unoptimal trade offs to make the RN Web build and Web SDK compatible. Overall this added an unprecedented level of complexity and most importantly, future maintainability issues. Especially as the codebase becomes larger and more complex. Given the complex nature of the full vision of the project, I must adopt the strategies and implementations that are fuly compatible with my Expo/RN builds and its cross-platform unified codebase. Finally, I found the right solution via a RN SDK that offers mobile and web support through the Dynamic.xyz auth provider. Onwards and upwards.
