@gortavfc Maatsen we got an inflated fee for Kellyman. Guessand/Malen we will get our money back. Bailey was worth it for the season we clinched UCL. Onana is probably what you get for 50m nowadays. We haven’t been good in the market but haven’t really splashed the cash on fees anyway.

We scouted Malen for over 2 years, who was sold within a year. We scouted Guessand for over a year, who was loaned / sold within 6 months. Let’s not act like Emery hasn’t had incomings who would drastically improve the attack and completely misused them.

@BruceHBond Squad building is the issue, most of the signings we’ve made either don’t make the squad as there’s better options currently (Tielemans or Kamara over Onana) or simply don’t fit the system, like Malen, Diaby, Elliott etc

I hope those who trusted every single Emery and Monchi decision in the transfer windows are happy with how the squad is looking at the moment. Recruitment has been the biggest issue for many years now and the club still hide behind the PSR/SCR excuse.

@mattavfcc My entire point is towards the fans who call out others for not trusting fully in certain signings or club decisions. Obviously there’s nothing no fan on Twitter can do but it’s perfectly reasonable to not rate the recruitment and then tweet any displeasure about it.
