I am being a bit of a rebel, reading my vintage Christmas crime mystery for the year in October. New to me author Pierre Very's The Murder of Father Christmas (1934). What Christmas classic crime fiction are others going to read this year?

OK Twitter, hit me with your posh names for a female character, age about 65/70, army background/family. Old-fashioned rather than contemporary-sounding if you know what I mean? IE Georgina used to be an upper class name but has now been democratised.
