@nntaleb One guest talked about The Brothers Karamazov. Lex talked about the novel as if he read it already, so I am surprised TBK is on his list. For literature scholars, this is a very pedestrian list of books to read. He should have read most of them if he is as erudite as he claims.

If you don't get why, between 2019 and 2022, I turned down exactly 10 requests to be on his podcast, this will provide a succinct explanation.

@MoonboiHopium @nntaleb His list isn't surprising. He openly admitted in his podcast (#213) that his intellectual turning point in literature was struggling to read Joyce so he just focuses on books with "fewest words" without "music of language".
