The domestic workers bill has been languishing in Indonesia's House of Representatives for an incredible 20 years, facing hurdles at every step of the process. @jalaprt @evndari @DPR_RI

"As a law-making body, the House should adhere to the mandate of Pancasila, especially the principle of social justice for all people," said Eva Sundari @evndari, APHR Board Member.

@antonioguterres This resolution reflects the bare minimum that must be done, namely an immediate ceasefire and access for humanitarian aid. The int'l community must stop any further aggression from Israel in Gaza, whether through airstrikes or a ground invasion.

We echo @antonioguterres statement that the attacks on Oct. 7 do not justify Israel’s collective punishment of Gaza, just as the decades-long suffering of Palestinians under Israeli occupation do not justify attacks on Israeli civilians.

APHR is deeply saddened by the horrific loss of life in Israel and Palestine in the last few weeks and strongly urges all ASEAN member states, as well as all other states, to vote for the resolution circulated in the UN General Assembly Emergency Session.

Satu masalah serius. Keputusan MK-demi-Gibran telah menggerus kepercayaan masyarakat ttg netralitas dan integritas lembaga peradilan tertinggi.
