@malewiczz @EthraShip it's not a new concept in traditional finance, but it's still uncommon to see it applied this way in crypto.

spent some time digging into how @EthraShip structures its investment side each vessel sits inside its own segregated portfolio vehicle (SPV) so every ship is legally ring-fenced instead of everything being bundled into one portfolio thats a structure institutional funds have used for years because it keeps assets and risks separated the interesting part is SHIP isnt tied to those SPVs holding SHIP doesnt give ownership of vessels, dividend rights, revenue participation, or claims on the fleet it sits on the governance and ecosystem side, while regulated maritime investments remain in their own legal framework i actually like that separation. it makes it much clearer what the token is, and what it isnt trying to squeeze everything into a single token usually creates more confusion than clarity.

@gemsmorro @EthraShip what caught my attention most was the legal separation between the SPVs and the SHIP ecosystem.

@kylobtc @EthraShip agreed. transparency usually comes from having clearly defined roles and responsibilities.

@GemFrodo @EthraShip exactly. ring-fencing each vessel makes much more sense than pooling every asset together.

@evokein @EthraShip In a sector like shipping, legal issues matter a lot. Diversifying this into a seperate area can be really useful.

@0xifreqs @EthraShip it feels more like adapting proven frameworks than reinventing everything from scratch.

@nguyenthambt @EthraShip same. it's interesting to see more projects adopting structures that already work in traditional finance.

@SantoXBT @EthraShip agreed. legal clarity becomes much more important once real-world assets are involved.

@0x_junnu @EthraShip same here. i like that the structure clearly defines what SHIP is and what it isn't.

@0xAdilX @EthraShip what stood out to me is that SHIP stays focused on governance instead of trying to represent ownership too.

@FuryMetaa @EthraShip agreed. keeping each vessel legally ring-fenced helps contain risk at the asset level.

@Riosweb3 @EthraShip exactly. separating governance from ownership rights makes the role of SHIP much clearer.

@AYprotocols @EthraShip worth reading through the docs. the SPV structure explains a lot of the design decisions.
