Arsenal must be the only club in football that’s been criticised for 15 years for not being able to win ugly or deliver when it matters, and then when they actually do grind out results in a title race, they get attacked for that too. It’s a no-win narrative, and that kind of inconsistency is what’s killing the game.

A message for all Arsenal fans. I am seeing way too much moaning and entitlement in here, either from younger generation or international fans. Everyone is allowed an opinion, however criticising Arteta at a time like this is madness, the club was in a dire position when he arrived and he has turned us into serious contenders. Having seen Arsenal win 5 titles in my life, I can tell you none of them came easy. ‘89, we were clear at the top and LFC hauled us back, the football was all defensive but we got it over the line. Liverpool were miles clear last season however there was always a time when we thought we could get back into it because the season is long and no game is easy. Arsenal are facing teams who are good and strangling us with the low block. Set-pieces have helped us as a positive not a negative, it is part of the game. If we do win this title, it will be the hardest on since ‘89 when we had gone 18 years without a title. The mentality side of playing when you can gain an advantage is proven to be difficult. Please stop with this entitled shit about Arteta. You don’t deserve to support this club if you are unhappy right now, winning the PL is a seriously tough task, allowing moronic @LFC, @ChelseaFC and @ManCity fans to rule us up with their salty banter is pathetic.
