Nearly the whole day was filled with moving moments as the outgoing guild governments from Main Campus and @UcuKampala formally handed over the instruments of power to the 28th Guild Government. The mantle now rests with the 28th @theucuguild, led by my brother @EloAbra and his incredible team, ( I know they will lift student service to new heights). I am deeply humbled and grateful to receive the #OrombiExcellenceAward for Parliamentarian of the Year 2025. I assented to the Nkumba University Law Society Constitution Amendment presented by the Attorney General after its passage by Parliament. This milestone reform introduces AI and digital literacy, strengthens Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and mental health as guiding principles, establishes a Ministry of Technology & Innovation, reforms our electoral standards, and creates an Independent Moot Court Committee to professionalize moot practice.
