🎉 Exciting news! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut River Museum in Essex, CT! I’ve always loved the Connecticut River and have lived near it for the last 30!years — it’s a beautiful living connection to history, nature, and community. Whether I’m on the water, hiking near its banks, or simply watching the sun rise or set, it brings me peace and relaxation. I’m honored to join the Board of Trustees to help protect and celebrate this special place. RiverFare, the museum’s signature evening event, is coming up this Thursday and eweather is a proud sponsor! 🌟 I’ll be there from 6-9pm and would love to meet some you! Good morning! A quick update this morning as I am traveling… not much has changed with the forecast. Temps are in the 50s for most this morning and you will run into patchy valley fog. If you’re in a higher elevation, it’s a beautiful view looking down on the fog sitting in the valleys. A decent looking week coming up. Quite a bit warmer today but not as muggy as it was yesterday afternoon. Tomorrow is the warmest day of the week with moderate humidity as well, then we cool back down late week. Generally fair weather through the period. There is a chance for an isolated thunderstorm Wednesday evening/night and a few more widely scattered showers later on Thursday favoring eastern CT, RI, and eastern MA. I am continuing to keep my eye on a disturbance Saturday. At this point I don’t think it’s a big deal - with a few scattered showers Friday night into Saturday…but it does not look like a washout and we should see some sun too.
