(Amanda) I've been thinking about Rainbow Day in August. I know that lots of you would love to come to the allotments to share the day together but you live too far away. Maybe it would be a good idea if you send a photo of your pets on the day and we will include them. What do you think? David (@Uniquepoems4u) will also include names of pets in a lovely video he is making. Don't do anything just yet, I will tell you when to send photos and names soon. I'm looking forward to this special day on 23rd August, I hope you are too.

This is absolutely unacceptable! A service dog in a kill shelter is sickening. If anyone knows a veteran that needs a service dog this is a chance to get a great companion. This dog should not spend another day in a kill shelter. Repost this everywhere and get her a veteran!

(Amanda) I'll tell you a little bit about the special day we are planning. It will be on Sunday 23rd August and it will be like a Followers Day but with a difference. We will remember all our pet friends who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. The humans will have a chance to talk about them, or just to sit and listen if that's what they prefer. They can bring photos too. There will be some lovely poetry and music. I hope that those of you who don't live too far away will come. What do you think? Is it a good idea?

I trapped my first feral cat in my life… And had her spay surgery on Wednesday… ❤️🎉 The clinic people said… She is about 4 months old… And I should release her the day after the surgery… 💔 But I haven’t released her outside yet… 😢 Because my heart feels very guilty… She is still very small… And she lets me pet her… 🐱🤍 That’s why this thought keeps coming to my mind… “Should I try to socialize her…?” 🥺 But she is very scared of me… She hides in every corner of the bathroom… Where we have temporarily kept her… 💔 I know… Maybe releasing her is the best decision… But just thinking about it breaks my heart… That she won’t get the safety… Warmth… And love… That an indoor cat gets… 😭🐾 I just want to make the right decision for her… ❤️ If anyone has ever had this experience… Please give advice… 🤍

Does anyone have info on how long a tick has to be biting you before it transmits any disease (Lyme, AGS, etc)? Is it instantaneous or does it depend upon time of exposure, and if you squeeze the tick while removing it (vomiting disease back into you)? Asking for a cow….

when Cheesecake Factory was outside he would sit politely and stare at people, waiting for them to notice him but was ignored now he follows me around the rescue and does the same thing which means I must stop and pet him every time so he knows he'll never be ignored again

UPDATE: Stella still missing in #Ohio. But thank you SO much to all of those who have posted for her, put up signs, hunted on foot… the list goes on. We are so grateful for you! Flyers will land in 10,000 homes today hoping someone might have her that doesn’t see our posts and ads on social media. Drone teams were up again last night. No sighting but didn’t see predators either, so that’s good. Thank you for all of your encouraging letters, pleas to media for coverage, and just all you have done. We’ve had very few prank responses and we are so thankful for this. This is my daughter’s entire savings she is offering to the hero who safely returns Stella home. No questions asked. This is gut wrenching and you all have been such an inspiration to our family 🤍 Thank you! God bless each of you who took even a moment to help us!
