Ahh, Atlanta. Walked into the airport Wednesday and they had a woman on the ground trying to handcuff her. Last night at dinner, the police had the TGIF parking lot next door closed and picking up what appeared to be bullet casings. Alarm just went off at the airport.

@coachzblair10 Some of these "travel teams" are more worried about winning Mickey Mouse rings and fake rankings than the 8 year olds on their teams.

The problem with youth sports is winning is at the cost of development. Development needs to be driving the winning. What are you trying to win? The short term or the long term? No one cares about the tournament you won at 10u when you didn't learn the game the right way in order to win at 16u. Development should be driving everything. It's not attractive because it's the long game. It won't happen immediately and that turns people away.

@culvers why do you charge extra for burgers with no bun? Should be cheaper, not more. Make it make sense.

In exactly 3 words, what's stopping you from lifting weights for at least 2 hours per week?

I gotta say, I really don't see the problem with tournament expansion. They should've made it 96 teams and made all of the 9-16 seeds playin games. They're already playing on Tuesday and Wednesday anyway. It's just more than 2 games on those days.
