EXA | Review #2 The Verdict: 🟢 Pass (Cool Installments Credit Card) The Obstacle: Onboarding benchmark skipped (existing user). The UX is highly differentiated: depositing stablecoins allows you to either spend directly or spin up an automated on-chain loan to pay in 1 to 9 installments (cuotas). Crunching Numbers details: Deposit: Native to @Optimism, but supports cross-chain deposits (Base, Solana, Tron) and bank rails (ACH/SEPA via Bridge + Argentine Peso/Dolar). Currently, bank account fees ($1 open, $2/mo) are temporarily waived (Free). Fees/FX: 1.57% total FX spread (including the standard 1% Visa fee). Exchange Rate: 1 USD = 1,310.16 ARS (Slightly below Visa's 0% 1,330 rate). The Spend: 4,900 ARS ($3.74 USD initial principal) for a Kinder Bueno at YPF. Split into 9 installments at a fixed 5.85% TNA, bringing the final mature debt to $3.78 USD (~$0.43 USD/mo). Here's my test experience: Pros: Bringing the classic Latin American credit installments culture (AKA cuotas) completely onchain via lending pools. Collateral options are good (USDC, ETH, OP, WBTC). Plus, idle funds earn yield directly in the app (slightly under pure DeFi market rates, but passive). Cons: The Memory Tax. Installment payments must be made manually. Which is a pain because I always forget. And every time I get kicked by this brutal 0.45% daily penalty. The app won't remind you (feature or bug?), so you need an external calendar alert, or do some bad coding Claud magic. The Trap: You can refinance past-due debt, but taking a loan on a loan gets reallly expensive fast. A brilliant implementation of financial utility on blockchain rails, imo, great fit for latinamerican spenders if you manage your own payment alerts, and don't care too much about FX fees. #NikitaChallenge #CryptoCards

Uphold has just enabled XRP as collateral for the Exa Credit Card. Uphold users' deposits as collateral, which are supplied to Exactly Protocol's $cbXRP market on @base (with KYC). That position automatically opens a fixed-rate USDC credit line on the Exa Credit Card.
