If anyone has any ideas for breaking the curse, let me know. I’ve switched up the routine, stopped posting, started posting, faded myself, trusted myself—and even flew to Scotland to sacrifice my bankroll to the golf gods. Nothing has worked. It’s getting urgent.

With all due respect… how is this line justified? Late in his career, Djokovic has made the tennis equivalent of Kobe Bryant’s transition from a high-flying athletic freak into a high-post assassin. Less grinding. More precision. Elite spot serving. Timely serve-and-volley. Ruthless point construction. And now he gets to unleash that version of himself on the surface built to reward it most—a Court he’s raised the trophy 7 times. Grass has always been the surface where experience compounds. Where instincts beat explosiveness. Where IQ becomes a weapon. Win or lose, +400 on the arguably the greatest grass-court player ever—and certainly the best one in the draw—is a bet we have to make. For the first time of his career at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic enters a match with ≤ 20% odds. But if he gets past Jannik Sinner today, he will be favoured to win his 25th Grand Slam on Sunday... Can Djokovic replicate his magnificent upset from Australia earlier this year? 🃏

truly was so torn, marinated on this for ages bc i respect novak so much but i think sinner gets the job done tomorrow. has his forehand looked the best no but his level has been trending in the right direction every match and set that passes. yes novak won at AO but he had a massively different rest situation there with double the hours played here at wimbledon than AO, and even then jannik went 2/18 on bp’s which is not a repeatable outcome sinner’s serve is going to be a difference maker bc that facet of his game has been firing and novak’s return has been getting worse with time novak and his team were creative to go bigger than ever on the forehand at the AO and contain sinner in the middle of the court but i expect the world #1 and his team to respect the tape and make the adjustments necessary instead of being caught off guard this time i think it’s sinner in 4 with novak winning either set 2 or 3. jannik has shown vulnerabilities in focus/serve sets 2 and 3 facing more bp’s in them, i think novak can capitalize there and serve a set out. but the wear and tear proves too much in the end my personal wagers on the day, where i mainly focus on sinner to start hot out of the gate s1 bc i see value there: - djokovic not to break s1/zverev -1.5 sets, +104, 1u (b365) - sinner to win s1 6-3 or 6-4, +160, .5u (b365) - sinner to win s1/o3.5 sets, +202, .5u (fd)

@SmoothManSports If you look at their AO matchup, you’ll see Novak had much less time on court. Walkover against Mensik then got lucky with Musetti being injured up 2-0. Then he beat sinner in 5. This time he just played a 5hr match then has to play sinner…

@SmoothManSports Sinners path hasn’t been easy so far. Facing Kecmanovic first round followed by Borges and brooksby then a Mochizuki who was playing with nothing to lose then a big serving Struff.

I see know reason why the old man can’t pull this off. He already beaten him earlier this year, is using the surface to his great advantage, and The Fox hasn’t looked as dominant as usual. Why not Djokovic? It should be an utter war. I want to take the 🐐 —think it’s the right play at these bloated numbers on @thetailgateapp) but boy am I scared to jinx him with how I’m running.

Novak couldn’t do it again in the same year, could he? 😟 @polymarketsports are giving the 39-year-old a 20% chance of advancing to the Wimbledon final.

Respectfully disagree with my boy @propitlikeit here. That Felix came through against an in-form, dangerous Davidovich Fokina matters far more to me than how he got it done. Historical results aside, Felix’s game has always been tailor-made for grass. The serve, the first-strike forehand, the willingness to finish at net—it all translates. And while Novak is still the GOAT and his Wimbledon pedigree is beyond question, his margin for error at this stage of his career is much slimmer. Asking him to consistently neutralize Auger-Aliassime’s serve and plus-one game over five sets is a massive ask. +150 on the Auger Aliassime ML is a gift.

Prop It Like It's Hot@propitlikeit

Like it or not, Djokovic deserves to be the favorite in my opinion. I think Felix took too long than he needed to against Davidovich Fokina last round. Could that come back to bite him? Possibly, but if Novak can start strong in this match I believe he wins in 4 sets or less. He just cannot afford to start slow like he did against Safiullin. What are your thoughts?
