@KidderStNoise I don’t mind signing Redmond short term, but after O’Neill’s comments last night, I think staying up this season will make very little difference to the overall direction of travel. It’s futile.

@exiledlanc @ChrisCricket6 C. 420 members voted at the last AGM. The Board now want c. 300 member signatures before members can put any topic on the agenda at the AGM. It used to be 2 members, then they raised it to 25. 169 members signed resolutions last year which still weren't put on the agenda.

A number of members at Lancashire CCC have asked how they can get their SGM voting papers. I suggest anyone who hasn't received the online link to vote contacts the Membership Secretary Gaz Morris.

@ChrisCricket6 @LancsCCMG I’ve just found the second email , again in my junk file. I’ve read another member having the same problem. The system isn’t robust enough. I’ll wager many people will be unawares and miss out on voting.

@LancsCCMG You should have the option of either, especially when many of the members will be older and less au fait with online stuff. Anyway, with Bumble and other ex - players getting involved, the hierarchy is now under serious pressure.

@exiledlanc No system is perfect. Postal forms went missing too. Questions have been sent into the AGM on the membership record errors and online voting assurance.

@LancsCCMG Emails get missed. Mine went into my junk file, and I only found it when the vote started getting discussed on here. I don’t trust them.

@exiledlanc The club has previously said they hold email addresses linked to each membership account for over 95% of members. Members can ask for papers to be sent.

@LancsCCMG @lewtj1 I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them. The votes in the room clearly went against the hierarchy, but the non - attenders vote miraculously went very much the other way.

Members have raised questions for a formal response at the AGM about the way membership records are kept and how the auditors ensure voting is done accurately. I doubt very much that there has been deliberate fraud but there have been worrying errors that do need an independent response from the auditors which has been requested.

It is very sad to see things come to this but we hope members will not support the Board's power grab at the SGM on 9 April.

@lewtj1 @LancsCCMG After what I witnessed last year, I have no faith the vote will be counted fairly. The powers that be will do what they want.

@LancsCCMG I was initially quite surprised at the number of proposals then less so when I read them and came to a similar conclusion. I think members who fully read the proposals will likely vote against them - I’m just not sure enough do read them or go beyond the board’s “recommendation”

@exiledlanc @brfcsdotcom I hate clubs get deducted points because of awful owners, as we well know the fans are powerless to do anything about it. The fact we may have to rely on that to stay up makes it even worse.

Well, can't turn down a #rovers point against the team in 2nd. 4 out of 6 against much better teams is unexpected but very welcome. Lots of effort from most of the team today but the quality was simply non-existent. So lacking in the midfield & attack.
