Energy is shifting and more people are taking notice. Days moving much faster, more opportunities appearing , easier manifestation. Everything is becoming more fluid, malleable. Embrace the change, this is just the start ✨

ᥫ𝒎𝒆𝒍᭡@motsdemaelys

honestly i'm this close to quitting reading for good. every single author i actually love turns out to be problematic or worse. i'm so tired of finding out after i already got attached. feels like i can't enjoy anything anymore without a background check first

It’s not a lie though lol. In fact it makes light of the truth: that it was Western countries like the US that finally outlawed slavery. Meanwhile it continues in many places to this very day. But they want you to believe “American slavery” was somehow this unique heinous evil. It simply wasn’t. That is the truth.

“Slavery in America wasn’t even that bad” is maybe the most insane thing that far right chuds are trying to push now. Just blatantly ahistorical psyop designed to appeal to and produce more of the worst human beings to walk the earth.
Wilfred Reilly@wil_da_beast630

Almost a year after release, this book is still top-10 in Historical Study. Check it out! Are the mainstream media and academic narratives surrounding slavery, white flight, Native American pacifism, hippies, the Red Square, and the benefits of the sexual revolution for women...at all real? Maybe not. amazon.com/Lies-My-Libera….

@KaiKai2492 Wait, when people say problematic, what level are we getting at? Like JK Rowling levels where she uses her funds to support TERFs and back anti-trans legislation?

@exillvs @ThePhlashGordon This is why anyone with a brain wants to focus on American slavery so much. Because of people like you who think there is such a thing as a "kind" "moral" way to enslave someone.

@catturd2 Not exactly sure where the doomers have been for the last few decades but this is still the best president we’ve had in a very long time and it’s not particularly close.

I’m enjoying the shit out of the Trump presidency. I’m having a blast. There’s no way in hell I’m gonna let these pathetic Doomer Grifters suck the fun out of me for the next 2 1/2 years. Their negative feedback loop is for low IQ suckers, easily manipulated losers, and gullible washout failures. Enjoy your misery. I’m having the time of my life under the greatest President in US history. If you’re with me … LFG !!!!

@Unohanabbygirl It’s also wayward morality at best because half the things these people consider “problematic” often boil down to common sense or things that are true but are presented in a way that feels mean.

I remember someone on here saying this generation has a crippling case of moral ocd and I can’t help but agree. You’re never going to be able to enjoy anything ever if you insist on navigating the art/media this way

What i don’t get is like all the other actors are clear approximations of the characters, in terms of age and persona. It’s not just the race element with snape, why does he look so young and hip lmao. Dude looks like a random rapper standing next to the cast of HP. It’s just bizarre.

People don’t really read fiction anymore and that is a problem; another problem, however, is that among the dwindling population of people who do read, there is a sizeable contingent who seem not to understand what books are for

This is truly — and I mean truly — some budding serial killer sh!t right here. This is some of the most sexually violating behavior I have ever seen, and I spent 2 years working sex crimes.

Being afraid of reading "problematic authors" is due to your own insecurity with your beliefs and identity. You think that if you read "bad people", you'll become bad yourself, soaking up their toxins like a dim sponge. This is because you are stupid and can't trust yourself.
