You are working harder than your parents did. You earn more in nominal terms. You own less. You save less. You retire later. You cannot afford the house they bought on one income. This is not your failure. UK M2 money supply has risen 326% since 2000. The new money did not go to your wages. It went to asset prices. You ran harder. The finish line moved faster. 21 million Bitcoin. Fixed finish line.

The system isn’t broken by accident. It’s doing exactly what it was designed to do. Print money → inflate assets → suppress real wages. If you own assets, you win. If you earn a salary, you fall behind. This isn’t young vs old. It’s the rules of the game. And it’s unfair

I love the Bitcoin community. But the most rewarding conversations I have about Bitcoin aren't with Bitcoiners. They're with individuals and business owners learning about it properly for the first time. That's why I love speaking at events like this. Really excited to be talking at Accountex London this May alongside @Bitcoinshire + @DecentraSuze.

@Eggplant_Elon You can choose to rage against the system that is deeply flawed and get depressed or choose to do something positive. I’m focused on helping business in the UK reduce energy bills to help stay afloat and then add BTC to a treasury for sounder financial footing.

This hit a real nerve because I'm living it. I'm simultaneously deep in the diagnosis (monetary debasement, institutional failure, education system rot, business rot, societal degradation) AND actively building alternatives (home education, a new company, Bitcoin conviction as a lived practice, not just commentary). The post’s 80/20 framework is useful, but I think it slightly misidentifies the real risk for someone like me. The danger isn’t becoming a pure doomer who only tears down, because I'm already building. It lies in the depths of my diagnosis, bleeding the energy out of my soul every day. I say that because when one can see how broken the money is, how AML frameworks are theatre and designed to control and how the education system is to trap kids into conformity from an early age, that awareness becomes a weight one carries into the work of actually constructing something better. That being said, some diagnoses are prerequisites for building. You can’t build a Bitcoin conviction framework for people without first helping them see why fiat is broken. The same goes for education. You can’t make the case for home education without showing what public schooling actually does to kids. Therefore, tearing down and building aren’t mutually exclusive because they’re the same activity, just at different stages. I definitely recognise the pattern of waking up and scrolling for the outrage of the day, as the dopamine loop of diagnosis is genuinely easier to find than the slower, harder satisfaction of building or creating something. I suppose the question this post is making me (and you!) ask is whether the diagnosis serves building or has become its own end? Given where I am right now, stacking Bitcoin, starting a new company, home educating, the TLDR of this might be…does this tweet I'm writing or this hour of scrolling X help with something I’m constructing, or am I just cataloguing dysfunction because it feels productive? 🤔

L'abîme t'a avalé. Buckminster Fuller l'a parfaitement formulé : "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

@Eggplant_Elon Such an eloquent description of the poor state that the U.K. finds itself in.. we either start moving in this direction now, which will be painful but possible, or we do so after a catastrophe of some kind triggers it which will be 10x worse
