5th cardio ICU with 15 beds dedicated for treatment of Decompensated Heart Failure only. opd follow up also will be here. They get enlisted for transplant from here. During acute decompensation they can bypass emergency department queue and come straight here. Awaiting ECMO

In all so called cirrhosis (1) look at JVP for y descent (2) Take a lateral chest xray for pericardial calcification (3) Do echo specifically to exclude constriction. Distended IVC with traffic jam sign will lead to diagnosis in subsequent steps without much traffic jam in thought process. Cath and eliciting typical finding is an art.

Elective PTCA 2369 Primary PTCA 1170 Grateful to my fellows who did almost all primary PTCAs. My kids are superb guys, dedicated highly skilled and enthusiastic. Only an excellent team work can lead to this achievement. Me only coordinating everything, mainly controlling academics without compromise. Enter the cath lab only when requested by APs, associate profs when they need my help. But enter uninvited during cath for constriction😀, my weakness. Credit goes to the entire team

We did 5552 procedures in the year 2025 which included TAVR,PVL closures,CAVF closures,rare procedures like LV-RA shunt closure, Aorta to LA fistula closure,ASD,PDA percutaneous PV implantation post TOF,post MI VSR closure,BMV,BPV etc etc in addition to coronary interventions.
