@explodingquails Yunara's bio references this but that line is from an historian prespective, someone trying to translate ancient texts, the person translating also doesn't know if there's a connection or not, so it's left ambiguous

Coming back to this, the big crests on each side were indeed the sun and the moon, their designs match the head pieces of the new Aspect skin!
This makes sense as the powers of the Sun were used to create the God-Warriors, while the powers of the Moon were used to defeat them!

@ttwisted35 Yes and I wonder if they had more direct dealings with the Aspect of Twilight in the past... this part in Yunara's bio mentions a "Twilight Orison" which I suspect is something the Kinkou already followed, not something Zaahen introduced to them

@explodingquails But I can totally see Kinkou's beliefs/phyllosophies being somehow connected to the Aspects. Just a different interpretation since they're from a different culture and not as close to the Aspects as the Targonians!

@ttwisted35 Oh I see! So the mural should have been constructed around the same time as Zaahen's sealing right? I guess they must have copied these patterns from the scroll Zaahen brought with him.

I think this mural in specific is just referencing the Darkin War and Zaahen's fate.
Zaahen brought knowledge of how to defeat the Darkin, which is tied to the Sun/Moon, and of course Twilight who gave mortals this knowledge!

After the Eternal Aspect teaser yesterday, I went back to that cover and found this... The right circle matches almost perfectly with Diana/Moon Aspect's headpiece.
